General InformationDISH 1000+ allows customers to receive programming from four orbital locations; 110°, 118.7°, 119° and 129° using a dish antenna size similar to SuperDISH. (Parts are not interchangeable with other dishes).

Standard Configuration: DISH 1000+ includes a DP Dual Band LNBF and two DP Dual LNBF. All DISH 1000+ will need to be installed with a DPP 44 switch. DP Dual Band LNBF for orbital locations; 118.7°, 119° Two DP Single LNBF (110°,129°) DPP44 Switch (required if you don't have one already) Universal wall/roof mount that lets you put the dish on your roof or exterior wall of your house. 1 5/8" OD pole, Hole spacing in the base is 3.75" x 6" between centers.
Receivers model 2800, 6000, and 721 may display the 118.7 orbital locations in the Point Dish and Installation Summery screens as “119K”. Others will display the 118.7° orbital locations as "118" in these screens.
Valid Receiver combinations include: Receivers NOT compatible with DISH 1000: (*no 129/118.7 support) 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000, JVC-IRR, DISHPlayer 7100/7200
118.7° – This new orbital slot is where DISH Network will be increasing their HD Local Network Programming and international programming choices. International programming transitioning to the 118.7° orbital slot – DISH Network will begin broadcasting the International languages listed below from the 118.7º orbital location: African, Filipino, Armenia, French, South Asian, Telugu, Chinese, German, South Asian – Kannada, South Asian – Malayalam, Bangladesh, Korean
This new orbital location will be viewed with a new DISH 500+ antenna (which includes 118.7° / 110 º /119º) or with a new DISH 1000+ antenna (which includes 118.7° / 110º / 119º /129º). These new antennas will be available from us in the upcoming weeks. Dish500+ and Dish1000+:
