The Dish Network DISH 1000 PLUS  offers Dish Network customers Regular Programming, HDTV, International and Local Channels.   Dish Network uses this dish to receive channels from satellites 110, 118.7, 119, and 129.  

The Universal Wall/Roof mount that comes with your dish purchase, allows you to setup your dish on your roof or exterior wall of your home.

General Information

DISH 1000+ allows customers to receive programming from four orbital locations; 110°, 118.7°, 119° and 129° using a dish antenna size similar to SuperDISH. (Parts are not interchangeable with other dishes).

Dimensions:

• 23.8”h x 30.9"w dish face

• 37"x28"x13" Oversize 2 (OS2) shipping package.

Receivers model 2800, 6000, and 721 may display the 118.7 orbital locations in the Point Dish and Installation Summery screens as “119K”.  Others will display the 118.7° orbital locations as "118" in these screens.

Valid Receiver combinations include:

• Any DISH Pro or DISH Pro Plus Receiver

  • When using Dish Pro Plus-44 Switch, up to four Dish Pro Plus Receivers each with Dish Pro Plus Separators for the single-cable installation advantage.

• One Legacy Receiver with one DISH Pro or DISH Pro Plus Receiver
  * All DISH 1000+ will need to be installed with a DPP 44 switch.

Receivers NOT compatible with DISH 1000: (*no 129/118.7 support) 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000, JVC-IRR, DISHPlayer 7100/7200

118.7° – This new orbital slot is where DISH Network will be increasing their HD Local Network Programming and international programming choices.

International programming transitioning to the 118.7° orbital slot – DISH Network will begin broadcasting the International languages listed below from the 118.7º orbital location: African, Filipino, Armenia, French, South Asian, Telugu, Chinese, German, South Asian – Kannada, South Asian – Malayalam, Bangladesh, Korean

This new orbital location will be viewed with a new DISH 500+ antenna (which includes 118.7° / 110 º /119º) or with a new DISH 1000+ antenna (which includes 118.7° / 110º / 119º /129º). These new antennas will be available from us in the upcoming weeks.
